What are you going to do?

The Royal Marechaussee is committed to, among other things, the border police task, the surveillance and protection of objects and persons, and the international and military police task. For the execution of these tasks, it is important to have as thorough an image as possible. By searching for information on various internet platforms and social media and connecting it with each other, you play an important role as an OSINT analyst. The online world is your specialty. You recognize, collect, interpret and analyze relevant information from publicly accessible sources. You do this on the basis of an intelligence requirement and you do not lose sight of the legal frameworks.

In addition to our other vacancy as OSINT ANALYST, we also have a vacancy available within a section that is characterized by its secrecy. We specifically expect employees within this section to be reliable, proactive and open-minded. This means that they dare to speak out, do not wait but come up with ideas themselves and can think out-of-the-box. In addition, a certain degree of flexibility and independence is required. The confidentiality of the work also means that you have to take your position into account in your private life. Annual maintenance interviews are part of the position. Given the nature of the work, working from home is not possible.

Extensive experience with OSINT activities is highly desirable. In addition, a personal network with other (covert) services is a plus. The employee is expected to be able to work on a project basis and to be able to manage a project team. Current knowledge of the various teams and the associated tasks that are part of the section is desired to give the section a flying start.

Who are we looking for?

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• You have completed a higher professional education. Preferably in the field of criminology, security studies, conflict studies or political science;
• You have extensive experience with open source research/internet research.
• You preferably have analysis experience in a previous position.
• You are both a team player and independent.

In addition to your salary, you will receive an Individual Choice Budget (IKB). The IKB consists of money (16.50% of your gross annual salary) and time. The Royal Marechaussee is a gendarmerie force: a police force with military status. The employees are both military and policemen or -women. The National Tactical Command (LTC) Department Intelligence Department

The work is performed within the National Tactical Command (LTC) of the Royal Marechaussee. The LTC aims to implement the border police task, guarding & securing and international and military police tasks at a tactical level. The work is specifically performed within the Intelligence department. This department aims to provide a current intelligence picture in the various planning phases for the purpose of making strategic, tactical and operational choices.
