Open-Source Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
Signal Corporation is looking for an Open-Source Intelligence Analyst to join our remote team. Our enterprise open-source intelligence tool – Signal, is used by major organizations around the world to keep their employees, executives, and interests safe. In this role you will help Signal’s customers – corporate security teams, law enforcement, and emergency management organizations, mitigate emerging threats to their organization and providing timely insight into major events.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining subject matter expertise in open-source intelligence and the Signal platform.
- Delivering onboarding, specialized OSINT training, and building rapport with clients.
- Designing and implementing collection plans to deliver upon client’s intelligence requirements
- Conducting timely person of interest investigations, behavioral threat assessments, and producing actionable reports as part of Signals contracted professional services. § Providing specialist advice on customers platform use.
The Preferred Candidate will have:
- Excellent oral and written communicative skills, capable of confidently communicating complex topics clearly in a concise and understandable manner to diverse audiences.
- Experience in managing relationships and building rapport with stakeholders/clients.
- A Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree related to Security Intelligence (Security Studies, Strategic Studies, Criminology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, etc.) or equivalent operational experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an intelligence analyst familiar with OSINT.
- Enthusiasm and initiative, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, and briefing materials
- Strong familiarity with the online environment, its users, subcultures, and content - including social media, alt-tech platforms, forums, messaging apps and the deep/dark web.
Desired but not essential skills
- Experience with Open-Source Intelligence tools, techniques, and research.
- Experience with Person of Interest Investigations and/or Behavioral Threat Assessments.
- Familiarity with Boolean Logic, Google Dorks, or similar advanced query structures.
- Familiarity with critical event management solutions.
- A familiarity with artificial intelligence and its potential applications in the intelligence cycle.
- Foreign language fluency (i.e. Spanish, French).
- Ability to travel within the United States.

- This is remote work role based in the US or Canada, EST/CST time zones.
- The role is full-time, but flexible work hours are possible for the right candidate.
- The salary range for this position is $65,000-80,000 USD This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience and geographic location.
