Freelancer OSINT/WEBINT Analyst - Chinese Focus

About the position
We are seeking a skilled OSINT/WEBINT Analyst fluent in Chinese (including reading and writing), with demonstrated experience navigating the Chinese-language threat actor ecosystem. In this role, you'll conduct in-depth research to identify emerging threats, analyze online trends, and contribute to our mission of enhancing online safety and threat detection.

Key Responsibilities:‍

- Perform open-source intelligence (OSINT) and web intelligence (WEBINT) research across clearnet, darknet, and messaging platforms, with a strong emphasis on threat intelligence such as malware trends, hacking, and illicit online communities.

- Navigate and analyze Chinese-language sources to extract actionable insights from regional ecosystems.

- Monitor forums, marketplaces, and other online spaces for potential risks and emerging threats.

- Analyze and organize research data into structured, clear reports and documentation to support ongoing threat mitigation efforts.

Requirements:
Must-Have

- Fluency in Chinese, including reading, speaking, and writing skills, and understanding of terminology and tone of communication used within Chinese-language threat communities.

- Proven prior experience in OSINT/WEBINT analysis, with hands-on expertise in clearnet, darknet, and messaging platforms.

- Strong understanding of threat intelligence concepts, including data leaks, malware, and blackhat/grey-hat online environments (e.g., marketplaces, forums).

- Proficiency with OSINT tools and methodologies for gathering and analyzing digital information.

- Strong organizational skills to analyze and present data in a structured, professional manner.
