Senior OSINT Trainer – Australia
Job Description
OSINT Combine is seeking an experienced, tool-agnostic open-source intelligence (OSINT) training specialist to join our Training and Tradecraft team. You’ll turn real customer needs into engaging, effective training experiences, empowering people, teams, and organisations to build enduring OSINT capability. In this role, your core responsibilities will be (1) deliver various open-source intelligence training courses independently, to the highest degree, (2) maintain, research, and develop high-quality OSINT-related content, and (3) participate in the development and implementation of e-learning courses. This role reports directly to the Head of Training.

Responsibilities
- Deliver OSINT Combine’s full suite of OSINT training offerings, virtually and in person, at an advanced level.
- Design and develop new training programs, working closely with the Head of Training and other subject matter experts.
- Support the creation of engaging e-learning, video and gamified content.
- Provide practical OSINT tradecraft advice to customers and the wide OSINT community, including delivering webinars, authoring blog content and otherwise contributing to thought leadership.
- High willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, including to travel or work outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Support other business needs and team projects as they arise.
Qualifications and skills
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on professional OSINT experience, with a strong grasp of core OSINT techniques, methods and workflows
- Proven experience delivering training or public speaking, both virtually and face-to-face with the ability to deliver multi-days courses solo, manage classroom dynamics and handle unexpected challenges
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into engaging high quality, practical learning
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Customer-first mindset with a track record of building trust and credibility
- Excellent written skills strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong collaborator and builder of strong working relationships across teams
- Passion for supporting OSINT Combine’s commitment to help make the world a safer place
Desirable:
- 5+ years’ experience as an intelligence professional in a military, government or or law enforcement setting.
- Recognised expertise in specialised OSINT domains such as the dark web, cryptocurrency, information warfare, or the Chinese internet.
- Hands-on experience with digital learning platforms, video editing/production, and creating engaging online learning experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to show tangible capability uplift in organisations.
