OSINT Security Analyst (m/w/x)
20-25 hours/week for our office in Vienna
As a leading provider of security software solutions, IKARUS has been shaping the international IT security landscape for decades. Our innovative products protect countless companies every day – and demand is constantly growing. Therefore, we are looking for reinforcements for our TIC (Threat Intelligence & Collaboration) team .
With us, you'll be on the front lines of cybersecurity: You'll analyze open sources, identify threats early on, and thus directly contribute to the security of our systems. With analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for IT security, you're exactly right for us.
Your mission:
- You monitor the threat landscape and create monthly OSINT threat reports with a focus on relevant developments
- You evaluate information from open sources, analyze technical details and derive clear recommendations for action
- You carry out in-depth analyses of vulnerabilities and attack methods, thus supporting well-founded risk assessments
- You present current findings in weekly meetings and highlight trends and threats
- You provide short-term analyses and technical expertise when quick answers are needed
What you bring with you:
- Analytical skills to capture, condense and evaluate complex information
- Media literacy to monitor and classify relevant incidents
- Communication skills to create precise reports and convey complex content in an understandable way
- Willingness to learn in order to continuously familiarize yourself with new threat scenarios and technologies
- Flexibility to safely handle dynamic developments and ad-hoc requests
- Structured working methods to proceed methodically and comprehensibly
- Very good knowledge of German and English
