OSINT/Search Warrant Officer (m/f/d)
The Lower Saxony State Reception Authority, with over 800 employees, handles the affairs of asylum seekers. This includes, among other things, reception, accommodation, social support, and distribution to municipalities throughout Lower Saxony. We also provide advice on all immigration law issues and are responsible statewide for return procedures and the accelerated skilled worker procedure.
These will be your tasks
- Conducting OSINT investigations to determine the whereabouts, threat potential, and other circumstances relevant to the return of persons subject to enforceable deportation orders.
- Developing and optimizing OSINT methods and research processes in the area of repatriation
- Comprehensive review, application and transmission of search warrants to competent courts
- Storing and documenting all relevant data in internal systems, as well as monitoring decisions and consultations.
- Presenting and forwarding the results to the deportation enforcement authorities, as well as using relevant IT tools
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders as well as the relevant authorities during the investigations
They have
the following conclusion:
- Employee training course II/Administrative training course II or
- successfully completed university studies (Bachelor's/Diploma) with a predominantly administrative, political science or economics focus or
- a university degree in a law program completed with the first state examination
- Persons who are already civil servants must possess the career qualification for the first entry-level position of career group 2, specialization "General Services".
- Ideally, practical professional experience in public administration as well as experience in the application of law.
- Enjoyment of working independently and taking on responsibility
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a confident demeanor
- Team spirit and openness in dealing with people from different cultures
