We are currently looking, effective immediately, for a candidate to join us in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Munich, or remotely as a:
Junior Associate OSINT (m/f/d)
With us, you will work in an established consultancy on highly relevant communications, political, and regulatory issues. You will research, analyze, and synthesize information into sound decision-making foundations and, together with the team, develop creative and actionable solutions. Ideally, you bring curiosity, analytical thinking, and enthusiasm for diverse topics and interactions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identification, collection, and analysis of information from publicly available sources (OSINT)
- Preparation of reports and analyses to support our clients and colleagues in assessing political, economic, and social developments
- Support in the development and implementation of policy and communications strategies
- Identification of reputational risks
- Litigation support
- Close collaboration with the team to integrate data-driven insights into the policy and communications strategies of our clients
- Further development of our data infrastructure and support in the (AI-based) automation of work processes
- Further development of our knowledge management
What You Bring:
- A completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Communications, Political Science, Journalism, or Economics), a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience (e.g., in journalism or security authorities)
- Willingness to continuously familiarize yourself with new contexts in a dynamic business environment and to share knowledge with colleagues
- Initial hands-on experience in Open Source Intelligence or other advanced research techniques
- Initial practical experience using AI tools and a solid understanding of the challenges posed by AI-generated content in OSINT research
- Enjoyment of learning new programs, tools, and research techniques
- Interest in automating tasks and processes and making them scalable
- Enjoyment of complexity: you like working on solutions to multifaceted problems in sensitive contexts, even under tight deadlines
- Enthusiasm for working with language and texts, and the confidence to use concise language in German and English (C1 level)
- Knowledge of the interplay between politics, media, business, science, and civil society
