As an Intelligence Analyst, you will serve as a critical shield for CME Group, transforming raw, open-source data into actionable intelligence. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Security, you will monitor emerging threats, protect our executives, and safeguard our talent pipeline by evaluating applicant suitability. What You’ll Do
- Synthesize Threat Intelligence: Monitor open-source platforms, forums, and real-time feeds to identify, analyze, and neutralize hostile threat information targeting the company or its executives.
- Drive Executive Protection: Partner closely with the Chief Security Officer and Lead Corporate Investigator, providing rapid-response intelligence to support ongoing protective services and investigations.
- Inform Leadership: Produce high-quality, weekly intelligence assessments and briefings that distill complex behavioral patterns and global security threats into clear strategies for senior leaders.
- Safeguard Talent Integrity: Review and adjudicate background check data, leveraging deep research to verify applicant suitability while ensuring strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory laws.
- Evolve OSINT Capabilities: Continuously refine analytical procedures and integrate cutting-edge open-source investigation technologies to keep CME Group ahead of shifting threat vectors.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: ideally 1+ years of dedicated experience conducting open-source investigations (OSINT) and writing threat intelligence assessments.
- Technical Domain: Analytics, digital footprint tracking, and navigating online subcultures, internet slang, and emerging communication platforms.
- Regulatory & Adjudication Knowledge: An understanding of the background check adjudication process, public records navigation, and the legal criteria governing employment suitability (Ideal)
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in data synthesis using Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
- Education & Training: BA or BS degree in Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field; specialized OSINT certifications are highly desirable.
- Attributes: Exceptional mental agility, keen attention to detail, and the composure required to execute mission-critical tasks within a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
