The Threat Intelligence Coordinator in the BDO Global Office Risk and Compliance team is responsible for supporting the collection and analysis of strategic threats that potentially introduce risk to the Global Office or the wider BDO brand. The role aims to provide insights to the main strategic threats and risks to enable effective mitigation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Reviewing, triaging and processing strategic information and multi-source intelligence feeds.
  • Supporting the identification and reporting of relevant current strategic threat concerns.
  • Conducting research where required, including secure, ethical and legal open-source intelligence (OSINT) and through cybersecurity tools.
  • Supporting and maintaining current strategic cyber threat intelligence activities to mature the process.
  • Supporting the coordination of network incident response.
  • Supporting the production of strategic cyber security reports.
  • Engaging with relevant technical contacts to understand the current threat landscape and attack surface, including tactical and operational analysts.
  • Supporting the development of reporting streams for the current strategic threat intelligence picture to key stakeholders.
  • Supporting the exchange of strategic threat intelligence and security knowledge sharing with key contacts throughout the BDO network.
  • Support the identification of mitigation actions on identified threats.
  • Conduct other supporting activities for the information and cyber security team.

Qualifications and experience

You must meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in a related field. We welcome applications from candidates who may not meet these criteria, but believe they have similar transferrable skills.
  • Demonstrable experience or examples of providing structured operational support.
  • The ability to communicate fluently in English. Additional languages are advantageous.
  • A collaborative team player who values inclusivity and diverse perspectives.
