Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for an OSINT Intelligence Analyst based in Bucharest. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OSINT Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bucharest HQ. In this role, you will leverage open-source intelligence tools and collaborate with global networks to provide actionable insights for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and analytical capabilities, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to excellence in intelligence reporting.

The candidate should be skilled in OSINT methodologies and analysis techniques, should have a proactive approach, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Specific Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in related fields such as security, intelligence, international relations, and law.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills in geostrategic and investigative projects, with a demonstrated ability to design report structures tailored to client needs, identify and access diverse data sources, cross-check and validate information, detect intelligence gaps and red flags, filter out misinformation and false positives, develop likely scenarios, and synthesize large volumes of data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience in preparing clear, structured, coherent, and consistent reports and briefings (text, visuals), preferably in intelligence analysis or related fields, included but not limited to open-source data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and standard intelligence reporting formats.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and threat analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and familiarity with analysis techniques.
  • Proven experience in OSINT, OSINT tools and software, and intelligence analysis.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest tools and developments in OSINT and AI.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of, and strong commitment to ethical and legal standards related to intelligence activities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and English capabilities. Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Background in intelligence, law enforcement, journalism, or related fields considered an advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in, and /or lead communication with clients and vendors, to best identify client’s needs and means to achieve desired results.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, and propose tailored approaches for new clients as well as up-selling opportunities for existing customers.
  • Map out roadmaps and approaches to obtain desired results and achieve client’s objectives in projects of various types.
  • Research data – identify necessary sources of data and tools, use all available searches, tools, and platforms to obtain accurate and relevant data.
  • Analyze available information to establish trends, patterns, updates, event relevancy, and potential impacts on our clients.
  • Detect and assess threats, risks, and opportunities, e.g. using advanced OSINT methodologies.
  • Monitor topics and send alerts to clients, according to their needs.
  • Draft and deliver comprehensive reports and intelligence briefs, turning raw data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Contribute to due diligence, competitive intelligence, and security assessments by mapping networks and relationships among key entities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest OSINT and AI tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Work in collaboration with other colleagues and external sources, to produce ideas and finished intelligence products deliverable to clients.
  • Develop and maintain a network of sources and contacts for information gathering.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to operational planning. Provide training, guidelines and support to other members of the team / department when necessary.
  • Ensure that the rules and values of the companies are adhered to all times.
  • Conduct accurate record keeping in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that deadlines and expectations related to client deliverables are respected.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the client's data as well as our company's data.
