We offer you an exciting position in Corporate Investigations within Corporate Security at BMW AG. Our team is responsible for creating a uniform framework for action and establishing group-wide investigation standards. In addition, the team provides operational services for various organizational units of the BMW Group worldwide and manages the Investigations Network, a network of BMW Group investigators.

What awaits you?

  • As part of the team, you will actively contribute to the future-oriented design, implementation and further development of group-wide specifications, processes, methods and digitalization approaches.
  • As a key interface, you will act as a contact person and advisor for investigations at the group level and report on company-wide investigation topics.
  • Your tasks include the independent planning, implementation and management of Group-relevant investigation activities in close coordination with key interface partners such as the Compliance, Legal and Group Audit departments as well as BMW Group IT.
  • Furthermore, in your proven role as a specialist, you will advise and support local and regional security functions in conducting investigations.
  • Within an established company-wide investigator network, you will actively manage quality, develop best practice approaches and conduct topic-related benchmarking.
  • Together with your colleagues, you will establish and maintain an international security network of technical experts, service providers, authorities and contacts at other companies.

What do you bring with you?

  • Degree in security management, criminology, law or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate security, preferably in a corporate investigations role, ideally with a regulatory background in an investigative or law enforcement agency.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the application of investigative methods and techniques, ideally initial practical experience in one of the following areas: OSINT research, IT forensics, data research & analysis.
  • Communication skills at all reporting levels of the company.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills, and knowledge of other foreign languages ​​is advantageous.
