About Us
The Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) is part of the 2nd Military Intelligence Battalion of the Intelligence Regiment. We are an organization consisting of both military and civilian employees.

IFC is a knowledge and analysis center that, in addition to providing intelligence support to the Army Command, processes information from various classified and unclassified networks on a daily basis and prepares intelligence products (INTSUM, SUPINTREP, briefings, theme-based notes, etc.) to support the Army's training, force development and restructuring, as well as potentially upcoming missions and contingency units at the tactical level.

About the position
We offer a position under the IFC in a dynamic operational environment with committed and dedicated colleagues, which is characterized by an informal tone and a good working environment. What is special about OSINT is that it is a unit with primarily younger employees.

As the leader of the OSINT section, you are responsible for the daily operation and development of the unit and its staff, including:

  • Manage and prioritize the collection of tasks that come into the section.
  • Perform quality control of reports and products.
  • Responsible for developing OSINT as a section under the IFC.
  • Support the service branch department in developing the OSINT specialty in the Armed Forces.
  • Be the FOCUS, development and career interview leader for your employees.

There will be the possibility of agreeing on flexibility in terms of working hours and working methods, as well as good opportunities for personal skills development.

National exercise activity is limited, but internationally you should expect 14-20 travel days per year.

About you

You are an experienced sergeant or senior sergeant with an interest in the IT and Cyber ​​domain. The most important thing to succeed in the role of leader of the OSINT section is your ability to lead a unit with primarily young people, as well as focus on the development of the specialty in the coming years.

The following are not requirements, but are desirable and will benefit you in the position:

  • An OSINT, cyber or otherwise IT-related background.
  • Previous experience in an intelligence specialty.
  • Knowledge of Russian doctrine, organization, materiel or technology.

Terms of employment‍

The position is a senior sergeant position on collective agreement terms. The position can be filled by a civil servant. Salary etc. are regulated by the LC/CO10 collective agreement and organizational agreement in force at any time between the Ministry of Defence's Personnel Board, CO10 and the Central Association of Regular Personnel for regular personnel of the line and reserve as well as students in the Ministry of Defence with associated authorities.

The position can be filled by a sergeant major with good development potential and who is assessed as ready for appointment or ready for appointment within a shorter number of years.

When applying for a new position in the Ministry of Defence, negotiation of personal allowances must be included in the employment procedure in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Your permanent place of employment will be in Varde .

As an employee in the Ministry of Defence area, you are subject to some special conditions. Among other things, you must be able to obtain security clearance and maintain the security clearance throughout the entire employment process.

As an employee, you have a duty to perform service outside the country's borders, including with units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.

You should be aware that there are physical and functional health requirements associated with the position.

In the position, you are required at all times to be able to meet the health and physical requirements set for the position - here A2, which means that you must be medically approved for service in Denmark, northern + western Europe, as well as sailing in Danish waters and the Baltic Sea.

ABOUT THE INTELLIGENCE REGIMENT
‍

The Intelligence Regiment sets up, trains and deploys units and individuals who collect information about the enemy on the battlefield. The Intelligence Regiment's specialists process the collected information so that Army commanders have the best possible basis for making decisions about military operations.

The Intelligence Regiment is responsible for the Army's development of the intelligence field and the training of intelligence specialists for the entire Army, as well as the regiment's responsibility for Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) in the defense. Furthermore, the Intelligence Regiment trains conscripts with a view to refreshing the existing units.

The intelligence regiment consists of two battalions, a service branch section and a regimental staff.

EFR has a close collaboration with Varde and Esbjerg Municipality regarding, among other things, newcomer services. Based on your needs and wishes, we adapt the support in relation to partner jobs, school and housing, etc.
