The following position is advertised:

The Cybercrime Center Baden-Württemberg (CCZ) is looking for an IT consultant (f/m/d) to start as soon as possible .

The Baden-Württemberg Cybercrime Center, established at the Karlsruhe Public Prosecutor's Office since January 1, 2024, is responsible for handling particularly high-profile cybercrime investigations throughout the state. The CCZ is also the central point of contact for the public prosecutor's office in the fight against cybercrime in Baden-Württemberg.

Your tasks are essentially:

- Preparation and evaluation of data

- Analysis of blockchain-based payment systems

- Conducting OSINT research

- Documentation and evaluation of the investigations carried out and their representation before courts in Baden-Württemberg

- Development of investigation support applications

- Advice and technical support to public prosecutors in investigative measures

- Expansion and administration of the local IT infrastructure

- Lecturing

What we expect:

- Completed university degree (university diploma or master's degree) in computer science or related fields or bachelor's degree in the aforementioned courses and several years of professional experience in the field of computer science

- Broad basic knowledge in the field of computer science

- Basic knowledge of networking

- Programming skills in at least one language (preferably Python)

- Above-average oral and written communication skills

The position is open to civil servants up to salary group A 13 (gD) of the Civil Service Act (LBesG). Career qualification for the higher civil service is a prerequisite for holding this position. For civil servant applicants, temporary secondment with the aim of transfer is possible.

If the contractual and personal requirements are met, the employee will be placed in pay grade 13 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the German Federal States (TV-L). All standard public service benefits, including relocation expenses and separation allowance, are provided on a case-by-case basis.
