Job Title: Intelligence Consultant (OSINT)

Job Overview:

The Intelligence Consultant is part of a small team working in a hybrid capacity to support the capability development requirements of a Cambridgeshire-based Public Sector customer. The team work closely with OSINT teams to understand their challenges and deliver technical and tradecraft development support.

 

Job Scope:

The job holder will be working to the Principal Consultant, splitting their time between Central London, Cambridgeshire and working from home. They are responsible for working with priority teams conducting OSINT to understand key capability gaps and meeting them with the most appropriate solutions and support for their given resource. The role covers requirement analysis, solution design, external engagement, policy alignment, internal stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of deskside OSINT tradecraft support. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        To proactively engage and build relationships with key OSINT teams to understand key challenges, current access, technical ability, budgets, and OSINT resources.

·        To work closely with customer delivery and assurance stakeholders to deliver solutions at pace, within the customer’s legal and policy boundaries.

·        To stay up to date with the latest OSINT tradecraft skills and techniques.

·        To deliver desk-side support to ensure analysts are making the most of the capabilities and tradecraft they have available.

·        To maintain awareness of the operational OSINT market landscape through research and analysis of trends, always with the customer’s requirements in mind.

·        To perform gap analysis and consult stakeholders on the appropriate solutions and technical suitability.

·        To regularly log Intelligence requirements & gap identification, recognising themes and similarities across multiple teams. 

·        To work closely with the customer’s data partners to enable secure integration of new data pipelines and services.

·        To work with SaaS providers customer teams to share user feedback and stay abreast of core changes and the policy implications.
