About Us
The Intelligence Fusion Centre is part of the 2nd Military Intelligence Battalion at the Intelligence Regiment. We are an organization consisting of both military and civilian employees.
IFC is a knowledge and analysis center that, in addition to providing intelligence support to the Army Command, processes information from various classified and unclassified networks on a daily basis and prepares intelligence products (INTSUM, SUPINTREP, briefings, theme-based notes, etc.) to support the Army's training, force development and restructuring, as well as potentially upcoming missions and contingency units at the tactical level.

About the position
As a specialist within OSINT, you will undergo customized training that optimizes your skills through teaching, distance learning, peer training and physical courses both in Denmark and abroad.
The main tasks of the position:
- Information search and collection : Systematic and targeted identification, monitoring, and collection of information from open sources on the Internet, including social media, news media, the Dark Web, and other online platforms using advanced search tools and browsing techniques.
- Media analysis: Analysis and processing of multimedia content, including images, videos and audio files.
- Data analysis and geospatial analysis: Analysis and processing of collected information, including geolocation and geospatial analysis. Working with data and statistics to identify patterns and trends.
- Database management and web monitoring: Implementation and maintenance of a database that supports OSINT activities and the work of analysts. Ongoing monitoring of websites and online sources.
- Reporting and communication: Preparation of written reports and oral communication of results to relevant stakeholders in both Danish and English.
There will be flexibility in working hours and working methods, as well as good opportunities for skills development. You will primarily work from the office, but travel in the form of courses and activities in Denmark and abroad can be expected a few weeks a year.
About you
You are a corporal, or experienced chief constable.
You have knowledge of the IT and cyber area, either from previous service or from private interest.
You are not afraid to show initiative, and work well both independently and with your colleagues. You may also be good at seeing alternatives and new perspectives.
The most important thing for us is that you are comfortable in front of a computer and are curious about OSINT as a field of study.
- One or more points from the areas below are desirable, but by no means a requirement:
- IT skills: Experience with digital platforms and knowledge of databases, including knowledge or experience with AI.
- Programming knowledge: Knowledge or experience with Python, R, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and LLM technologies.
- A good tactical understanding as well as interest and curiosity for the subject.
- Language skills: Good skills in Danish and English; knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian is an advantage.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
The position is a corporal position on collective agreement terms. The position can be filled by a civil servant. Salary etc. are regulated by agreement between the collective agreement in force at any time between the Personnel Board of the Ministry of Defence and the Army Constable and Corporal Association for the constable group of the line and reserve, constable trainees and corporals of the line and reserve in the Army.
The position can be filled by someone in the constable group with good development potential.
If you do not meet the educational requirement, you can be employed on a training agreement, where you undertake to complete and relevant educational requirements. Remuneration is according to the position's salary level. Appointment to corporal can take place when educational requirements and the Armed Forces' basic physical requirements are met, as well as when you have an approved health and dental assessment and meet the general requirements for appointment.
When applying for a new position in the Ministry of Defence, negotiation of personal allowances must be included in the employment procedure in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
Your permanent place of employment will be in Varde.
As an employee in the Ministry of Defence area, you are subject to some special conditions. Among other things, you must be able to obtain security clearance and maintain the security clearance throughout the entire employment process.
As an employee, you have a duty to perform service outside the country's borders, including with units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.
The employment is conditional on you being able to pass the basic physical requirements of the Danish Armed Forces and being declared fully fit for deployment in international operations through health and dental assessments.

ABOUT THE INTELLIGENCE REGIMENT
The Intelligence Regiment sets up, trains and deploys units and individuals who collect information about the enemy on the battlefield. The Intelligence Regiment's specialists process the collected information so that Army commanders have the best possible basis for making decisions about military operations.
The Intelligence Regiment is responsible for the Army's development of the intelligence field and the training of intelligence specialists for the entire Army, as well as the regiment's responsibility for Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) in the defense. Furthermore, the Intelligence Regiment trains conscripts with a view to refreshing the existing units.
