Your tasks

  • Technical research and documentation of current situation- and fundamental-relevant information from open, electronic sources
  • Conducting difficult research in the local language, sometimes in unfamiliar scientific/legal/technical fields.
  • Source evaluation, selection and consolidation of search results, data processing
  • Use of foreign language search engines, databases, social networks, browsers, keyboards, and linguistic methods
  • Compilation, summarization, and preparation of relevant information

We generally expect a willingness to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new specialist areas and tasks.

Your profile

  • Mandatory requirements:
    • A completed or expected completion within the next 12 months university degree (Bachelor's/Diploma from a University of Applied Sciences)

From the subject group:

  • Law and Administrative Sciences,
  • Economics
  • Social and behavioral sciences,
  • Humanities
  • German citizenship
  • the willingness to undergo an extended security clearance with security investigations (Ü3) based on the Security Clearance Act (SÜG).

Desired qualifications:

  • Foreign language skills:
    • English at B2 level
  • Foreign language skills equivalent to A2:
    • Arabic
    • Farsi
    • Dari
    • Turkish
    • Serbo-Croatian
  • Knowledge of communication practices in social media
  • Experience in dealing with virtual machines

Your benefits

The position is offered according to the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD Bund) in pay group 9c. Transfer of non-technical civil servants (m/f/d) up to pay group 11 (higher service) is possible if the career-related requirements are met and after individual review.
