Sibylline is looking for a motivated early-career analyst to join us in an embedded role for a state-of-the-art security operations centre based in Louisville, KY. Using the latest industry technologies and practices, the Fusion Center (GSOC) Analyst will identify, analyse, and advise on adverse conditions and threats that could affect the safety, security and operational continuity of the client in North America. These conditions include (but are not limited to): political instability and unrest, armed conflict, crime, terrorism, and natural hazards.
This position would suit candidates with a strong interest in security and who want to build a career in threat monitoring and intelligence. Although we are ideally looking for someone with operational experience in a corporate security environment, we also welcome applications from anyone with related experience and skills (e.g. research, customer service or business management). This includes recent graduates with a demonstrated interest in the security industry. A flexible mindset is critical for this role, which involves shift and on-call duties, including on weekends and public holidays.
The analyst will be responsible for intelligence gathering, incident & crises management, monitoring physical security functions, and detecting threats to our client’s staff, assets and operations. The team uses a variety of tools, including global access control and alarm monitoring systems, integrated video monitoring systems, enhanced visitor management systems, and in-house applications to detect threats and incidents that may impact the company. Moreover, the Analyst will play a critical role in developing new intelligence products and initiatives with the Team Lead to maximise decision advantage for the client.
This position is on-site, with remote working only possible on occasion in limited circumstances. The Analyst will be managed by our embedded Team Lead and client managers day-to-day, but will also report to Sibylline’s Intelligence Operations team in London. Full support and guidance will be provided from our head office; including training, professional development, and access to our global network of Sibylline analysts.
This position represents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to continue their development as an intelligence analyst with a leading firm growing at 50% per year. We offer strong career progression and are invested in building individuals' professional profiles. Moreover, being embedded truly offers “the best of both worlds”, giving a small firm ethos alongside large firm exposure and experience.
